House Project 02
In this house, the design creates a calm and timeless atmosphere by working with the strong character of the existing stone structure rather than transforming it. Natural stone walls are left exposed throughout the interiors and combined with aged wood, light-toned textiles, raw metal details, and patinated objects to create a layered yet understated character. The rhythm of the timber beams and the natural imperfections of the materials allow traces of time to become part of the design, while generous openings, terraces, and living spaces extending into the garden gradually blur the boundary between indoors and the coastal landscape. The sea view becomes more than a backdrop, shaping the light, color palette, and spatial experience of the house. The result is a peaceful home that feels deeply connected to its setting, bringing together natural textures, a sense of lived-in warmth, and contemporary simplicity.
