Set at the quieter edge of İstanbul, Maison Silva emerges as a deeply personal transformation, an inward-looking, sombre house reimagined as a luminous and expressive home immersed in nature. While the original stone shell was preserved as a memory of place, the interior was completely reprogrammed to create a layered dialogue between architecture, landscape, color and craft. Arched thresholds frame shifting perspectives and connect intimate rooms with generous double-height spaces, while a rich palette of deep red, verdant green, terracotta and muted blush gives each volume its own distinct atmosphere. Throughout the house, hand-finished joinery, bespoke metalwork, lime-based surfaces, natural stone and patterned marble reveal a commitment to materiality and craftsmanship, complemented by custom furniture and sculptural lighting produced between France and Turkey. Asian antiques, curated artworks, globally sourced rugs and carefully collected objects introduce a sense of history and individuality, allowing the interiors to feel accumulated over time rather than conventionally decorated. The result is a home shaped around the character of its inhabitants: vibrant yet serene, refined yet deeply tactile, a contemporary domestic landscape where architecture, nature and craftsmanship come together with a quiet sense of exuberance.
